About isolés
Cycling apparel with a singular focus on quality, for a better ride.
isolés was founded on the idea that the individual experience of the rider is paramount. While cycling can be highly communal, it remains an individual pursuit defined by the feeling of the individual on the bike.
We seek to improve the experience of the individual rider. That’s it - a laser-focus on cycling kit that surpasses standards and expectations. Our mission to improve cycling apparel is an homage to the devotion that carries a cyclist out the door. We don’t just avoid cutting corners. We seek to elevate every detail, from materials to styling, tailoring and production -all for the good of the ride.
These are the values we’ll hold near and dear through the end.
- Respect for the rider
- Attention to the detail
- Devotion to the pursuit

Founding
isolés was founded to meet a demand for elegant, functional cycle clothing that embraced Nordic design values. Fashionable and Sustainable.

Family-owned brand
Isolés is a family-owned brand, run by Henrik and Louise Dahl Rubak.
“We believe that it is the product that counts, and the energy that has been put into creating the whole story around it. We feel our customers value isolés as a Niche Danish brand,” says Henrik.
“I’ve been involved in the production of cycling clothing from the very beginning. I know what it takes to create a desirable product. Every detail counts, and first and foremost it is about choosing the absolute best fabrics. There must be no compromise.”

Developed by riders
The development of isolés products is informed by years of cycle racing.
Henrik Dahl Rubak is a former semi-professional cyclist who raced his under-23 years in different Italian teams, until he realised that “lack of talent” would always separate him from riders in the peloton like Giovanni Visconti and Vincenzo Nibali. Henrik quit the italian dream to focus on a 15-year career producing the finest quality cycling clothing.
